Jyotiṣa-saṅgraha: Varga-vibhāga, Bala-nirṇaya, Garbha-phala, Āyuḥ-gaṇanā
neṣṭasthejye'nyathāste strīyuṃktāsannarekṣite | pāpayuktekṣite dyūne ruṣā prītyā śubhagrahaiḥ || 42 ||
Narada (teaching in an astrological/technical context within Moksha Dharma)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhayanaka
It frames worldly relationship outcomes as karma-phala shaped by graha-doṣa and protection (rakṣā), encouraging discernment and dharmic conduct rather than fatalism.
Indirectly: by showing that even benefic influences can become inconsistent under affliction, it points the seeker toward steadier refuge—sādhana, prayer, and devotion—beyond fluctuating worldly indicators.
Jyotiṣa Vedāṅga: assessing Jupiter’s condition, the seventh house (dyūna), conjunctions (yukta), aspects (īkṣita), and protective strength (rakṣā) to judge mixed results.
