Adhyaya 88 — The Manifestation of the Matrikas and the Slaying of Raktabija
माहेश्वरी त्रिशूलेन तथा चक्रेण वैष्णवी ।
दैत्याञ्जघान कौमारी तथा शक्त्यातिकोपना ॥
māheśvarī triśūlena tathā cakreṇa vaiṣṇavī /
daityāñ jaghāna kaumārī tathā śaktyātikopanā //
माहेश्वरी ने त्रिशूल से वध किया और वैष्णवी ने चक्र से। कौमारी अत्यन्त क्रुद्ध होकर अपनी शक्ति से दैत्यों को भी गिरा देती थी।
