Adhyaya 77 — Sanjna’s Withdrawal from Surya: The Birth of Yama and Yamuna, and the Emergence of Chhaya
शातनं तेजसो मे 'द्य क्रियतामिति भास्करः ।
तञ्चाह विश्वकर्माणं संज्ञायाः पितरं द्विज ॥
śātanaṃ tejaso me 'dya kriyatām iti bhāskaraḥ / tañ cāha viśvakarmāṇaṃ saṃjñāyāḥ pitaraṃ dvija
“आज मेरे तेज का क्षय (छँटाई) किया जाए,” भास्कर ने कहा; और हे ब्राह्मण, उसने संज्ञा के पिता विश्वकर्मा से इस प्रकार कहा।
