Adhyaya 75 — The Fall and Restoration of Revatī Nakṣatra and the Birth of Raivata Manu
सुमेधसस्तत्र देवास्तथा भूपतयो द्विज ।
वैकुण्ठश्चामिताभश्च चतुर्दश चतुर्दश ॥
sumedhasas tatra devās tathā bhūpatayo dvija | vaikuṇṭhaś cāmitābhaś ca caturdaśa caturdaśa ||
हे द्विजश्रेष्ठ! वहाँ देवगण ‘सुमेधस’ कहलाते थे और वैसे ही राजा भी; उनमें वैकुण्ठ और अमिताभ—ये (समूह) चौदह-चौदह संख्या में कहे गए हैं।
