Adhyaya 56 — The Descent and Fourfold Course of the Ganga; Jambudvipa’s Varshas and Their Conditions
कामप्रदेभ्यो वृक्षेभ्यो वार्क्षो सिद्धिः स्वभावजा ।
स्वाभाविकी समाख्याता तृप्तिर्देश्या च दैशिकी ॥
kāmapradebhyo vṛkṣebhyo vārkṣo siddhiḥ svabhāvajā / svābhāvikī samākhyātā tṛptir deśyā ca daiśikī
कल्पवृक्षों से वृक्षजा सिद्धि स्वयमेव उत्पन्न होती है। वही ‘स्वाभाविकी’ कहलाती है; और देश-विशेष से होने वाली तृप्ति ‘दैशिकी’ नाम से कही जाती है।
