Adhyaya 54 — Cosmography of Jambudvipa: Continents, Oceans, Varshas, and Mount Meru
सा परिक्रम्य वै मेरुं जम्बूमूलं पुनर्नदी ।
विशति द्विजशार्दूल पीयमाना जनैश्च तैः ॥
sā parikramya vai meruṁ jambū-mūlaṁ punar nadī | viśati dvijaśārdūla pīyamānā janaiś ca taiḥ ||
वह नदी मेरु पर्वत की परिक्रमा करके फिर जम्बू (वृक्ष) की जड़ के पास लौट आती है और उसमें प्रवेश करती है; हे द्विजों में व्याघ्र, वहाँ के प्राणी उसे पीते हैं।
