Adhyaya 45 — Jaimini’s Cosmological Questions and the Opening of Markandeya’s Account of Primary Creation
दीपाद्यद्रिसमुद्राश्च राज्योतिर्लोकसंग्रहः ।
जलानिलानलाकाशैस्ततो भूतादिना बहिः ॥
dīpādyadrisamudrāś ca rājyotirlokasaṃgrahaḥ | jalānilānalākāśais tato bhūtādinā bahiḥ
उसमें द्वीप आदि, पर्वत और समुद्र थे, तथा लोकों की व्यवस्था—उनके प्रकाशों और लोकधामों सहित—थी। उसके बाहर क्रमशः जल, वायु, अग्नि और आकाश के आवरण थे, और फिर आगे भूतादि से आरम्भ होने वाले तत्त्व।
