असाम्प्रतमविज्ञेयं ब्रह्माग्रे समवर्तत ॥

Transliteration

anādy-antaṃ jagad-yonim tri-guṇa-prabhavāpyayam |

asāmpratam avijñeyaṃ brahmāgre samavartata ||

Translation

वह अनादि-अनन्त, जगत् की योनि, त्रिगुणों की उत्पत्ति और लय का आधार है; उस समय वह प्रत्यक्षतः ज्ञेय नहीं था, और वह ब्रह्मा से भी पूर्व विद्यमान था।
