शुष्कपर्णचये नद्यां श्मशाने ससरीसृपे ।
सभये कूपतीरे वा चैत्यवल्मीकसञ्चये ॥
śuṣka-parṇa-caye nadyāṃ śmaśāne sa-sarīsṛpe / sa-bhaye kūpa-tīre vā caitya-valmīka-sañcaye
इसी प्रकार सूखे पत्तों के ढेर पर, नदी में/नदी-तट पर, श्मशान में, सर्पादि जीवों वाले स्थानों में, भयावह स्थानों में, कुएँ के किनारे, तथा चैत्य (देव-स्थल) और बाँबी/वल्मीकों के बीच भी (योग) नहीं करना चाहिए।
