Adhyaya 39 — Yoga Discipline: Posture, Breath Control, Sense Withdrawal, and Signs of Attainment
सञ्चाद्य निर्मले सत्त्वे स्थितो युञ्जीत योगवित् । इन्द्रियाणीन्द्रियार्थेभ्यः प्राणादीन् मन एव च ॥
sañchādya nirmale sattve sthito yuñjīta yogavit | indriyāṇīndriyārthebhyaḥ prāṇādīn mana eva ca ||
निम्न प्रवृत्तियों को वश में करके और शुद्ध सत्त्व में स्थित होकर योग का ज्ञाता योग में प्रवृत्त हो। इन्द्रियों को विषयों से रोककर, प्राण आदि वायुओं तथा मन को भी संयमित करे।
