Adhyaya 35 — Madālasa’s Instruction on Purity, Impurity, and Corrective Rites (Śauca and Aśauca)
गात्राणाञ्च मनुष्याणामम्बुना शौचमिष्यते । यथायसानां तोयेन ग्राव्णः सङ्घर्षणेन च ॥
gātrāṇāñ ca manuṣyāṇām ambunā śaucam iṣyate | yathāyasānāṃ toyena grāvṇaḥ saṅgharṣaṇena ca ||
मनुष्यों के अंगों की शुद्धि जल से बताई गई है; जैसे लोहे की शुद्धि जल से होती है, और पत्थरों की शुद्धि घर्षण/रगड़ से।
