जाते पुत्रे पितुः स्नानं सचेलन्तु विधीयते ।
तत्रापि यदि चान्यस्मिन जातॆ जायेत चापरः ॥
jāte putre pituḥ snānaṃ sacelantu vidhīyate | tatrāpi yadi cānyasmin jāte jāyeta cāparaḥ ||
पुत्र के जन्म पर पिता को वस्त्र सहित स्नान करने की आज्ञा है। और उसी प्रसंग में, यदि एक के जन्म के बाद फिर किसी अन्य का भी जन्म हो (अर्थात् जन्म क्रम से हों), तो… (आगे का विधान संदर्भानुसार)।
