Adhyaya 33 — Madālasa on the Fruit of Śrāddha Performed on Lunar Days and Nakṣatras
प्रदानशीलो भवति सापत्यश्चोत्तरासु च ।
प्रयाति श्रेष्ठतां सत्यं हस्ते श्राद्धप्रदो नरः ॥
pradānaśīlo bhavati sāpatyaś cottarāsu ca | prayāti śreṣṭhatāṃ satyaṃ haste śrāddhaprado naraḥ ||
उत्तराओं (उत्तराफाल्गुनी आदि) में वह दानशील और संतानवान होता है; और जो पुरुष हस्त नक्षत्र में श्राद्ध करता है, वह निश्चय ही उत्कर्ष/प्रधानता प्राप्त करता है।
