Adhyaya 32 — Rules for Parvana Śrāddha: Foods that Please the Ancestors and Items to Avoid
नग्नाः पातकिनश्चैव हन्युर्दृष्ट्या पितृक्रियाम् ।
अपुमानपविद्धश्च कुक्कुटो ग्रामशूकरः ॥
nagnāḥ pātakinaś caiva hanyur dṛṣṭyā pitṛ-kriyām / apumāna-paviddhaś ca kukkuṭo grāma-śūkaraḥ
नग्न व्यक्ति और पापी, केवल दर्शन से ही पितृकर्म को दूषित कर देते हैं। तथा मुर्गा, गाँव का सूअर, और ‘अपुमान-पविद्ध’ (निंदित/अशुद्ध) व्यक्ति—इनको भी दूर रखना चाहिए।
