Adhyaya 23 — Ashvatara’s Vow for Madalasa and the Bestowal of Musical Science by Sarasvati
येऽर्था नित्या ये विनश्यन्ति चान्ये ये वा स्थूला ये च सूक्ष्मातिसूक्ष्माः ।
ये वा भूमौ येऽन्तरीक्षेऽन्यतो वा तेषां तेषां त्वत्त एवोपलब्धिः ॥
ye'rthā nityā ye vinaśyanti cānye ye vā sthūlā ye ca sūkṣmātisūkṣmāḥ /
ye vā bhūmau ye 'ntarīkṣe 'nyato vā teṣāṃ teṣāṃ tvatta evopalabdhiḥ
जो-जो तत्त्व नित्य हैं और जो अन्य नश्वर; जो स्थूल हैं और जो सूक्ष्म अथवा अतिसूक्ष्म; पृथ्वी पर, अन्तरिक्ष में या अन्यत्र—वे सब-के-सब केवल आपसे ही ज्ञात होते हैं।

Knowledge itself is a divine participation: all cognition—of permanent principles or transient forms—depends on Devī. Ethically, learning and discernment are to be approached as sacred responsibilities.
