पुण्यपापोद्भवं भुङ्क्ते सुखदुःखोपलक्षणम् ।
यत्त्वं पृच्छसि मां राजन् यातनाः पापकर्मिणाम् ।
केन केनेति पापेन तत्ते वक्ष्याम्यशेषतः ॥
puṇyapāpodbhavaṃ bhuṅkte sukhaduḥkhopalakṣaṇam / yad tvaṃ pṛcchasi māṃ rājan yātanāḥ pāpakarmiṇām / kena keneti pāpena tat te vakṣyām aśeṣataḥ
वे पुण्य और पाप से उत्पन्न, सुख-दुःख-स्वरूप फल का अनुभव करते हैं। और हे राजन्, जो तुम पापकर्म करने वालों की यातनाओं के विषय में पूछते हो—‘वे किस-किस पाप से उत्पन्न होती हैं?’—वह मैं तुम्हें पूर्णतः बताऊँगा।
