Adhyaya 13 — The Son’s Account of Hell and the Question of Unseen Sin

याम्यश्च पुरुषो घोरो दण्डहस्तोऽशनिप्रभः ।
पुरतो दर्शयन् मार्गमिति एहिति वागथ ॥
Transliteration
yāmyaś ca puruṣo ghoro daṇḍahasto 'śaniprabhaḥ | purato darśayan mārgam iti ehi iti vāg atha
Translation
तब यम का एक भयानक सेवक, दंड हाथ में लिए, बिजली की तरह दहकता हुआ, आगे-आगे चला; मार्ग दिखाते हुए ‘आओ, आओ’ कहता रहा।
