Utkramaṇa-sthāna and Ariṣṭa-lakṣaṇa: Yājñavalkya’s Instruction on Departure Pathways and Mortality Signs
ग्रन्थस्यार्थस्य पृष्ट: संस्तादृशो वक्तुमर्हति । यथा तत्त्वाभिगमनादर्थ तस्य स विन्दति
granthasyārthasya pṛṣṭaḥ saṃstādṛśo vaktum arhati | yathā tattvābhigamanād arthaṃ tasya sa vindati
वसिष्ठ बोले—जब ग्रन्थ के अर्थ के विषय में प्रश्न किया जाए, तब योग्य आचार्य को श्रोता के अनुरूप वैसा ही कहना चाहिए; क्योंकि तत्त्व तक पहुँचाने से ही वह पुरुष ग्रन्थ का अभिप्रेत अर्थ वास्तव में प्राप्त करता है।
