Gaṇānāṃ Vṛttiḥ — On the Sustenance and Cohesion of Assemblies

चारमन्त्रविधानेषु कोशसंनिचयेषु च । नित्ययुक्ता महाबाहो वर्धन्ते सर्वती गणा:
Transliteration
cāramantravidhāneṣu kośasaṃnicayeṣu ca | nityayuktā mahābāho vardhante sarvatī gaṇāḥ ||
Translation
भीष्म बोले— महाबाहु युधिष्ठिर! गणराज्य के नागरिक गुप्तचर-कार्य और दूत-कार्य में, राज्यहित के लिए गुप्त मंत्रणा में, विधान-निर्माण में तथा कोश-संग्रह में सदा लगे रहते हैं; इसलिए वे सब ओर से उन्नति करते हैं।
