Transliteration

tathaivādhirathis tasya bāṇāj jvalita-tejasaḥ

Translation

संजय बोले—उसी प्रकार अधिरथि भी उसके प्रज्वलित तेज वाले बाण से आहत हुआ। रण के उन्माद में योद्धा बल का उत्तर बल से देते हैं; वहाँ क्रोध नहीं, संयमित कौशल ही विजय-पराजय का निर्णय करता है।
