हतपुत्रा हतबला हतमित्रा मया सह । युयुधानसहायेन पज्च शिष्टास्तु पाण्डवा:,उस समय पाण्डवोंके पुत्र, मित्र और सैनिक सब मारे गये। केवल मेरे और सात्यकिके साथ पाँचों पाण्डव शेष रह गये हैं
hataputrā hatabalā hatamitrā mayā saha | yuyudhānasahāyena pañca śiṣṭāstu pāṇḍavāḥ ||
उनके पुत्र मारे गए, बल टूट गया, मित्र नष्ट हो गए। मेरे साथ और युयुधान (सात्यकि) के सहायक होने पर केवल पाँचों पाण्डव ही शेष रह गए हैं।
