धृतराष्ट्र-सत्कारः तथा श्राद्ध-दाने नियमनम् | Honoring Dhṛtarāṣṭra and Regulating Śrāddha-Gifts
तेन तस्याभवत् प्रीतो वृत्तेन स नराधिप:
tena tasyābhavat prīto vṛttena sa narādhipaḥ | viparītaś ca me śatrur niyamyaś ca bhaven naraḥ ||
ऐसे आचरण से वह नराधिप धृतराष्ट्र प्रसन्न हो गए। और सौम्य स्वभाव वाले युधिष्ठिर सदा प्रसन्नचित्त रहकर अपने भाइयों और मंत्रियों से कहते— “धृतराष्ट्र मेरे और तुम सबके लिए पूज्य हैं। जो उनकी आज्ञा के अधीन रहे, वही मेरा सुहृद्; जो विपरीत चले, वह मेरा शत्रु और दण्ड का भागी होगा।”
