देवैर्विष्णोः शरणागमनम्—शिवलिङ्गस्थापनं, शिवसहस्रनामस्तवः, सुदर्शनचक्रप्रदानं च

सामान्यदेवः कोदण्डी नीलकण्ठः परश्वधी विशालाक्षो मृगव्याधः सुरेशः सूर्यतापनः

Transliteration

sāmānyadevaḥ kodaṇḍī nīlakaṇṭhaḥ paraśvadhī viśālākṣo mṛgavyādhaḥ sureśaḥ sūryatāpanaḥ

Translation

वे सर्वभूतों में व्याप्त सामान्यदेव, कोदण्डधारी धनुर्धर, नीलकण्ठ, परशुधारी हैं। वे विशालनेत्र, मृगव्याध-रूप से जीवों की उच्छृंखलता का शमन करने वाले, सुरेश और सूर्यतुल्य तप्त तेजस्वी हैं।
