उमामहेश्वरव्रतं—पञ्चाक्षरमन्त्रस्य माहात्म्यं, न्यासः, जपविधिः, सदाचारः, विनियोगः

एवं लब्ध्वा शिवं ज्ञानं ज्ञात्वा जपविधिक्रमम्

Transliteration

evaṃ labdhvā śivaṃ jñānaṃ jñātvā japavidhikramam

Translation

इस प्रकार शिव-सम्बन्धी मंगलमय ज्ञान को प्राप्त करके और जप की विधि-क्रम को भलीभाँति जानकर साधक मंत्र-साधना के अनुशासन में प्रवृत्त होता है, जिससे पशु पती-शिव की कृपा की ओर अग्रसर होता है।
