सहस्रपादसौ वह्निर् वृत्तकुम्भनिभः स्मृतः आदत्ते स तु नाडीनां सहस्रेण समन्ततः

Transliteration

sahasrapādasau vahnir vṛttakumbhanibhaḥ smṛtaḥ ādatte sa tu nāḍīnāṃ sahasreṇa samantataḥ

Translation

वह अग्नि ‘सहस्रपाद’ कही गई है और रूप में गोल घड़े के समान स्मृत है; वह चारों ओर से सहस्र नाड़ियों द्वारा (रस/प्राण) को खींच लेती है।
