युगधर्मवर्णनम् — चतुर्युग, गुण, धर्मपाद, तथा वार्तोत्पत्ति
ब्राह्मणं कल्पसूत्राणि मन्त्रप्रवचनानि च अन्ये तु प्रस्थितास्तान्वै केचित्तान्प्रत्यवस्थिताः
brāhmaṇaṃ kalpasūtrāṇi mantrapravacanāni ca anye tu prasthitāstānvai kecittānpratyavasthitāḥ
कुछ आचार्यों ने ब्राह्मण-ग्रन्थ, कल्पसूत्र और मन्त्रों के प्रवचन प्रकट किए; और कुछ उन्हीं उपदेश-मार्गों पर चल पड़े, जिन्हें परम्परा-रक्षक जनों ने फिर से ग्रहण कर दृढ़ रूप से प्रतिष्ठित किया।
