Adhyaya 23: श्वेत-लोहित-पीत-कृष्ण-विश्व-कल्पेषु रुद्रस्वरूप-गायत्री-तत्त्ववर्णनम्

तस्माच्चतुर्युगावस्थं जगद्वै सचराचरम् चतुर्धावस्थितश्चैव चतुष्पादो भविष्यति

Transliteration

tasmāccaturyugāvasthaṃ jagadvai sacarācaram caturdhāvasthitaścaiva catuṣpādo bhaviṣyati

Translation

अतः यह समस्त जगत—चर और अचर सहित—चार युगों की अवस्था में स्थित है; और चार प्रकार से व्यवस्थित होकर यह धर्म के चतुष्पाद रूप में प्रकट होगा।
