Sukta 89
दिव्या आपः। अपो दिव्या अचायिषं रसेन समपृक्ष्महि । पयस्वानग्न आगमं तं मा सं सृज वर्चसा
ápo divyā́ acāyiṣaṃ rásena sám apṛkṣmahi | páyasvān agne ā́ gamam táṃ mā́ sáṃ sṛja várcasā ||
The heavenly Waters have I drawn; with their essence we have wholly sprinkled ourselves. O Agni, come hither with what is milky: that do thou wholly send into me with lustre.
मैंने दिव्य आपः (जल) को खींच लिया है; उनके रस से हम अपने को पूर्णतः अभिषिक्त/छिड़क चुके हैं। हे अग्नि, दुग्ध-सम (पयस्वान्) शक्ति लेकर यहाँ आ; उसे तेज (वर्चस्) सहित मेरे भीतर पूरी तरह संप्रेषित कर।
