Sukta 66
निर्हस्ताः सन्तु शत्रवोऽङ्गैषां म्लापयामसि । अथैषामिन्द्र वेदांसि शतशो वि भजामहै
nír-hastāḥ santu śátravó ’ṅgáiṣāṃ mlāpayāmasi | átha eṣām índra védāṃsi śatáśo ví bhajāmahai
Disarmed be the foes; their limbs we cause to languish. Then, O Indra, their counsels—by hundreds—may we rend asunder and divide.
शत्रु निरस्त (निःशस्त्र) हों; उनके अंगों को हम शिथिल कर देते हैं। फिर, हे इन्द्र, उनके परामर्श/योजनाएँ—सैकड़ों प्रकार से—हम अलग-अलग कर के चीर-भेद दें।
