Sukta 48
वृषासि त्रिष्टुप्छन्दा अनु त्वा रभे । स्वस्ति मा सं वहास्य यज्ञस्योदृचि स्वाहा
vṛ́ṣāsi triṣṭúp-chándā ánu tvā rabhe | svastí mā sáṃ vahāsy yajñásyodṛ́ci svā́hā
Thou art the Bull, with Triṣṭubh for thy metre: in accordance therewith I lay hold of thee. In safety bear me wholly to the sacrifice’s farthest reach—svāhā!
तू वृषभ है; तेरा छन्द त्रिष्टुप् है—उसी के अनुसार मैं तुझे ग्रहण करता/करती हूँ। कल्याणपूर्वक मुझे पूर्णतः यज्ञ की परम सीमा तक पहुँचा—स्वाहा!
