सर्प-विष-निवारणम्। परि द्यामिव सूर्योऽहीनां जनिमागमम्। रात्री जगदिवान्यद्धंसात् तेना ते वारये विषम्

pári dyā́m iva sū́ryo ’hī́nāṁ jánim ā́gamam | rā́trīr jágad ivā́nyad haṁsā́t ténā te vārayé víṣam ||

As the Sun encompasseth the heaven, so have I come upon the serpents’ birth. As from the Haṁsa the other moving world (is kept apart), by that same power I ward from thee the poison.

सर्प-विष-निवारण। जैसे सूर्य आकाश को चारों ओर से घेर लेता है, वैसे ही मैं सर्पों की उत्पत्ति तक पहुँच गया हूँ। जैसे हंस से यह अन्य चलायमान जगत् अलग रखा जाता है, उसी शक्ति से मैं तेरे भीतर के विष को रोकता/निवारता हूँ।
