Sukta 111
उन्मत्ततामोचनम्। इमं मे अग्ने पुरुषं मुमुग्ध्ययं यो बद्धः सुयतो लालपीति । अतोऽधि ते कृणवद् भागधेयं यदानुन्मदितोऽसति
unmattatā́mocanam | imáṃ me agne púruṣaṃ mumugdhí ayáṃ yó baddháḥ suyató lā́lapīti | áto’dhí te kṛṇavad bhāgadhéyaṃ yadā́nunmaditó ásati
Release for me, O Agni, this man—this one who, bound fast, raves with babbling speech. Thereupon let him render unto thee thy due portion, when he shall be free from madness.
हे अग्नि, मेरे लिए इस पुरुष को मुक्त कर—यह जो कसकर बँधा हुआ, बक-बक करता हुआ उन्मत्त-सा प्रलाप करता है। तब, जब वह उन्माद से मुक्त हो जाए, वह तुझे तेरा भाग-धेय (यज्ञ-भाग) अर्पित करे।
