Sukta 102
आहं खिदामि ते मनो राजाश्वः पृष्ट्यामिव । रेष्मच्छिन्नं यथा तृणं मयि ते वेष्टतां मनः
ā́haṃ khidā́mi te máno rājā́śvaḥ pṛṣṭhyā́m iva | reśmáccʰinnaṃ yáthā́ tṛ́ṇaṃ máyi te veṣṭatāṃ mánaḥ ||
I harry down thy mind, as one the royal steed beneath the back-strap’s hold; as grass is wound when cut by rein, so round about me let thy mind enwreathe itself.
मैं तुम्हारे मन को दबाकर वश में करता हूँ—जैसे पीठ-पट्टी के बंधन में राज-अश्व को कसा जाता है। जैसे लगाम से कटी घास लिपट जाती है, वैसे ही तुम्हारा मन मेरे चारों ओर लिपटकर बँध जाए।
