अपो निषिञ्चन्नसुरः पिता नः श्वसन्तु गर्गरा अपां वरुणाव नीचीरपः सृज । वदन्तु पृश्निबाहवो मण्डूका इरिणानु

IAST Transliteration

ápo níṣiñcann ásuraḥ pitā́ naḥ śvásantu gárgarā apā́ṃ váruṇā́va nícī́r ápaḥ sṛja | vádantu pṛ́śnibāhavo maṇḍūkā́ iriṇā́nu ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Pouring down the Waters, our mighty Father—let the gurgling ones breathe. O Varuṇa of the Waters, release the waters downward; let the speckle-armed frogs speak forth along the barren ground.

Translation

जल बरसाते हुए हमारे असुर (बलवान) पिता—वे गड़गड़ाते जल-ध्वनियाँ श्वास लें। हे अपां वरुण, नीचे की ओर जलों को छोड़ दे; निर्जन भूमि के साथ-साथ पृश्निबाहु (चित्तेदार भुजाओं वाले) मण्डूक बोल उठें।
