वृष्टिः। समुत्पतन्तु प्रदिशो नभस्वतीः समभ्राणि वातजूतानि यन्तु । महऋषभस्य नदतो नभस्वतो वाश्रा आपः पृथिवीं तर्पयन्तु

IAST Transliteration

vr̥ṣṭíḥ | samútpatantu pradíśo nabhasvatī́ḥ sám abhrā́ṇi vātájūtāni yantu | mahār̥ṣabhásya nádataḥ nabhasvató vāśrā́ ā́paḥ pr̥thivī́ṃ tarpayantu

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Rain. Let the cloud-bearing regions spring up together; let the wind-driven clouds move in a mass. Let the strong waters of the great Bull, of the thundering, clouded one, refresh and satisfy the Earth.

Translation

वृष्टि। नभस्वती (मेघधारिणी) दिशाएँ एक साथ उछलकर उठें; वायु-प्रेरित मेघ समूह बनकर चलें। महान वृषभ (मेघगर्जन करने वाले) के, नाद करते हुए, नभस्वान के, प्रबल जल पृथ्वी को तृप्त करें, पोषित करें।
