तिस्रो मात्रा गन्धर्वाणां चतस्रो गृहपत्न्याः । तासां या स्फातिमत्तमा तया त्वाभि मृशामसि
tísro mā́trā gandharvā́ṇāṁ cátasro gr̥há-patnyāḥ | tāsā́ṁ yā́ sphā́ti-mat-tamā táyā tvā́bhi mŕ̥śāmasi ||
Three are the measures of the Gandharvas, four the measures of the House-Mistresses. With that which is richest in increase—therewith we touch thee over.
गन्धर्वों की तीन मात्राएँ हैं, गृहपत्नी (गृहदेवियाँ) की चार। उन सबमें जो वृद्धि में सर्वाधिक समृद्ध है—उसी से हम तुझे स्पर्श करके अभिमन्त्रण करते हैं।
