Sukta 76
प्रेरय सूरो अर्थं न पारं ये अस्य कामं जनिधा इव ग्मन्। गिरश्च ये ते तुविजात पूर्वीर्नर इन्द्र प्रतिशिक्षन्त्यन्नैः
préraya sū́ro artháṃ ná pāráṃ yé asyá kā́maṃ janidhā́ iva gmán | gíraś ca yé te tuvijāta pū́rvīr nára indra pratiśíkṣanty ánnaiḥ ||
Impel forth, O Hero, the aim as to the farther shore—those who, as it were, generate his desire, go onward. And the many ancient songs of thine, O much-born Indra, which men recompense with foods.
हे शूर! लक्ष्य को—मानो पार के तट की ओर—प्रेरित कर; जो उसके काम (इच्छा) को, मानो, जन्म देते हैं, वे आगे बढ़ें। और हे तुविजात (बहुजन्म/बहुप्रसिद्ध) इन्द्र! तेरी अनेक प्राचीन गिरः (स्तुतियाँ) जिन्हें नर अन्नों से प्रतिशिक्षन्ति (प्रतिदान/प्रतिफल) करते हैं।
