यच्चिद्धि सत्य सोमपा अनाशस्ता इव स्मसि । आ तू न इन्द्र शंसय गोष्वश्वेषु शुभ्रिषु सहस्रेषु तुवीमघ
yác cid dhí satyá somapā anāśastā́ iva smási | ā́ tú naḥ índra śaṃsaya góṣv áśveṣu śubhrī́ṣu sahásreṣu tuvī́magha
Even though, O True Soma-drinker, we be as men unpraised, yet hither—O Indra—make us of good report, amid cows and horses, amid splendid possessions, amid thousands, O thou of abundant gifts.
हे सत्य सोमपा! यद्यपि हम मानो अप्रशंसित जन हैं, फिर भी—हे इन्द्र—हमें यहाँ सुयश दे। गौओं और अश्वों के बीच, उज्ज्वल समृद्धियों के बीच, सहस्रों के बीच—हे तुवीमघ (बहुदाता)!
