एवा ह्यस्य काम्या स्तोम उक्थं च शंस्या । इन्द्राय सोमपीतये

evā́ hy àsya kā́myā stóma uktháṃ ca śáṃsyā | índrā́ya sómapītaye

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

For thus, in very truth, for him the wish-availing praise, and the solemn hymn, are meet to be proclaimed—unto Indra, for Soma-drinking.

Translation

क्योंकि वास्तव में, उसके लिए कामना-सिद्ध करने वाला स्तोत्र और उक्थ (गंभीर स्तुति-हिम्न) ही प्रशंसनीय रूप से उच्चारित किए जाने योग्य हैं—सोमपान करने वाले इन्द्र के लिए।
