स्वरन्ति त्वा सुते नरो वसो निरेक उक्थिनः । कदा सुतं तृषाण ओक आ गम इन्द्र स्वब्दीव वंसगः

IAST Transliteration

sváranti tvā suté náro váso nireké ukthínaḥ | kadā sutáṃ tṛṣāṇá óka ā́ gama índra svabdī́va váṃsagaḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

At the pressed Soma the men sing thee aloud, O Wealth-lord, at the outpouring—the hymn-chanters. When, thirsting for the pressed draught, wilt thou come homeward, O Indra, sweet-drinking, eager to enjoy?

Translation

हे वसु-स्वामी! सोम के पेरने पर, उक्थ गाने वाले नर (ऋत्विज) निरेका—धारा-प्रवाह के समय—तुम्हें ऊँचे स्वर से गाते हैं। हे इन्द्र, मधुर-पान करने वाले, भोग-लालसा से युक्त! पिए हुए सोम के लिए तृषित होकर तुम कब अपने गृह/आवास की ओर आओगे?
