Sukta 53
क ईं वेद सुते सचा पिबन्तं कद् वयो दधे । अयं यः पुरो विभिनत्त्योजसा मन्दानः शिप्र्यन्धसः
ká īṃ veda suté sacā píbantaṃ kád váyo dadhe | ayáṃ yáḥ púro vibhínatty ójasā mandānáḥ śípry ándhasaḥ ||
Who, verily, knows him—drinking in company at the Soma pressed—what vital might he hath assumed? This is he who shatters forts by force, exhilarated, O Śipri, with the Soma’s juice.
सोम-सुत के साथ संगति में पीते हुए उसे कौन सचमुच जानता है—उसने कौन-सा प्राणबल धारण किया है? यही वह है जो ओज से पुरों (दुर्गों) को भेद देता है; हे शिप्रिन्, सोम-रस से मत्त होकर।
