Sukta 35
अस्येदु भिया गिरयश्च दृल्हा द्यावा च भूमा जनुषस्तुजेते । उपो वेनस्य जोगुवान ओणिं सद्यो भुवद् वीर्याय नोधाः
asyé́d u bhiyā́ gírayas ca dṛḷhā́ dyā́vā ca bhū́mā jánusás tujete | úpo venásya jógūvān oṇím sadyó bhúvad vīryā́ya nódhāḥ
Yea, through fear of him the mountains, firm-set, and Heaven and Earth by nature are made to quake. Nodhā, pressing near to Vena, straightway won him for heroic might a covering as of armour.
इसी के भय से दृढ़-स्थित पर्वत, और स्वभाव से ही द्यावा-भूमि (आकाश और पृथ्वी) काँप उठते हैं। वेन के निकट दबाव देकर (उपो), नोधाः ने वीर्य के लिए उसी क्षण उसे कवच-सा आवरण प्राप्त कराया।
