Sukta 25
बर्हिर्वा यत् स्वपत्याय वृज्यतेऽर्को वा श्लोकमाघोषते दिवि। ग्रावा यत्र वदति कारुरुक्थ्य१स्तस्येदिन्द्रो अभिपित्वेषु रण्यति
barhír vā yát svapatyā́ya vṛ́jyate ’rkó vā ślókām āghóṣate diví | grā́vā yátra vádati kā́rur ukthyàs tásyed índro abhipitvéṣu raṇyati ||
When sacred grass is strewn for rightful lordship, or when a hymn, a verse, is sounded forth in heaven; where the pressing-stone speaks and the Ukthya singer chants—thereat, even there, Indra rejoiceth amid the draughts.
जब यज्ञ में बर्हि (कुश-घास) को स्वामित्व/अधिपत्य के लिए बिछाया जाता है, या जब दिवि में स्तोत्र—श्लोक—घोषित होता है; जहाँ ग्रावा (सोम-पेषण का पत्थर) बोलता-सा प्रतीत होता है और उक्थ्य कारु (गायक) उक्थ का गान करता है—वहीं, उसी स्थान पर, इन्द्र पान-रसों (पित्व) के बीच आनन्दित होता है।
