इमे त इन्द्र ते वयं पुरुष्टुत ये त्वारभ्य चरामसि प्रभूवसो । नहि त्वदन्यो गिर्वणो गिरः सधत् क्षोणीरिव प्रति नो हर्य तद् वचः
imé ta índra té vayáṃ puruṣṭutá yé tvā́rabhya cárāmasi prabhūvaso | náhi tvád anyó gírvāṇo gíraḥ sádhat kṣóṇīr iva práti no harya tád vácaḥ
These, Indra, are for thee—yea, we for thee, O Much-praised, who, laying hold on thee, move in thy service, O Lord of ample wealth. For none other than thee, O Singer’s-friend, can set our songs in sure success: as lands are firm, so do thou, in answer, take delight in this our word.
हे इन्द्र, ये स्तोत्र तेरे ही लिए हैं; और हम भी तेरे ही हैं, हे पुरुष्टुत (अत्यधिक स्तुत्य), जो तुझे आश्रय करके तेरी सेवा में चलते हैं, हे प्रभूवसो (प्रचुर धन के स्वामी)। हे गिर्वणः (स्तुति-प्रिय), तुझसे भिन्न कोई और हमारी गिरः (वाणी/स्तुतियाँ) को सिद्धि तक नहीं पहुँचा सकता। जैसे भूमियाँ दृढ़ होती हैं, वैसे ही तू प्रत्युत्तर में हमारे इस वचन में हर्ष ले।
