Sukta 137
त्वं ह त्यदप्रतिमानमोजो वज्रेण वज्रिन्धृषितो जघन्थ । त्वं शुष्णस्यावातिरो वधत्रैस्त्वं गा इन्द्र शच्येदविन्दः
tváṁ ha tyád apratimā́nám ójo vájreṇa vajrin dhṛṣitó jaghántha | tváṁ śúṣṇasyā́vātiró vádhatrāis tváṁ gā́ indra śácyéd avindaḥ ||
Thou, O bolt-bearer, didst with the thunderbolt in daring smite that matchless might; thou didst bring low Śuṣṇa with slaying weapons; thou, O Indra, didst verily by thy efficacious power win the cows.
हे वज्रधारी! तूने वज्र से धृष्ट होकर उस अनुपम बल को चूर कर दिया। तूने शुष्ण को वध-शस्त्रों से गिरा दिया; और हे इन्द्र! अपनी शची (प्रभावी शक्ति) से तूने निश्चय ही गौओं को प्राप्त किया।
