Sanskrit (Devanagari)

देवा ददत्वासुरं तद्वो अस्तु सुचेतनम्। युष्मां अस्तु दिवेदिवे प्रत्येव गृभायत्

IAST Transliteration

devā́ dadatv ā́suram tád vo astu sú-cetanam | yuṣmā́ṃ astu díve-dive práty èva gṛbhāyat ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Let the Gods bestow that lordly power: for you let it be of wholesome mind. Let it be yours day after day; let it, in very truth, lay hold on you again and again.

Translation

देवगण वह असुर-बल (प्रभुत्व-शक्ति) प्रदान करें; वह तुम्हारे लिए सुचेतन—शुभ-बुद्धि देने वाला—हो। वह दिन-प्रतिदिन तुम्हारा ही रहे; और वह सचमुच बार-बार तुम्हें अपने वश में ले।
