Sukta 107

एवा महान् बृहद्दिवो अथर्वावोचत् स्वां तन्व१मिन्द्रमेव। स्वसारौ मातरिभ्वरी अरिप्रे हिन्वन्ति चैने शवसा वर्धयन्ति च

evá mahā́n bṛhád-divó athárvā́vocat svā́ṃ tanvàm índram evá | svásārau mātáribhvarī arí-pre hínvanti cainaṃ śávasā vardháyanti ca ||

Thus spake Atharvan of the wide heaven, making Indra great in his own embodied might. The two Sister-powers, mother-moving, in the press of foes, impel him, and with force they strengthen him.

ऐसे ही विस्तृत दिव के अथर्वन् ने कहा—अपने ही देहगत सामर्थ्य में इन्द्र को महान बनाते हुए। दो भगिनी-शक्तियाँ, मातरिश्वन्-प्रेरित, शत्रुओं के दबाव में उसे हाँकती हैं; और बल से उसे बढ़ाती, सुदृढ़ करती हैं।
