जङ्गिडः। इन्द्रस्य नाम गृह्णन्त ऋसयो जङ्गिडं ददुः । देवा यं चक्रुर्भेषजमग्रे विष्कन्धदूषणम्

jāṅgiḍáḥ | índrasya nā́ma gṛhṇánta ṛ́ṣayo jāṅgiḍáṃ dadúḥ | devā́ yaṃ cakrúr bheṣajám ágre viṣkandha-dū́ṣaṇam

Jāṅgiḍa—taking Indra’s Name, the Seers bestowed Jāṅgiḍa. Him the Gods in the beginning made a medicine, a destroyer of Viṣkandha’s bane.

जाङ्गिड—इन्द्र के नाम का उच्चारण करते हुए ऋषियों ने जाङ्गिड को प्रदान किया। जिसे देवों ने आदि में औषधि बनाया—विष्कन्ध के दूषण (उपद्रव) का विनाशक।
