vārṣí̱kau mā́sau goptā́rāv ákurvan vairūpáṃ ca vairājáṃ cā̀nuṣṭhātā́rau

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

The two months of the Rains appointed as guardians Vairūpa and Vairāja, as the two executors of the rite.

Translation

वर्षा-ऋतु के वे दो मास, वैरूप और वैराज—इन दोनों को रक्षक नियुक्त करते हैं; और ये दोनों अनुष्ठान के कार्यान्वयनकर्ता (अनुष्ठातार) हैं।
