Sukta 5
vi-vāhā́n jñātī́n sárvān ápi kṣāpayati brahma-gavī́ brahma-jyásya kṣatríyeṇā́punaḥ-dīyamānā
The marriage-alliances, the kinsmen—all likewise it wasteth away—when the brahmagavī, withheld from restitution by a Kṣatriya, belongeth to the brahmajya-offender.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (Anukramaṇī attribution not supplied in input).
Devata: Brahmagavī (personified sacral cow) and brahma-tejas as enforcing power.
Chandas: Mixed; long pāda with prose-like extension.
